Following the publishing of the letter that Peyman Aref wrote to his attorney on the 25th of October he was transferred to solitary confinement and has been on a hunger strike ever since.

 The following Wednesday (28^th of October) they transferred Peyman to the worker unit 350 in prison and ever since his phone calls to his family has been under surveillance and limited to 5 minutes per day. Due to psychological and physical strains and lack of access to his heart medicine from the time of arrest that took place four months ago, he has suffered a heart attack and was transferred to the infirmary unit.

During his last contact with his family,  Peyman Aref stated that if the situation would continue with limitations both in medicine and telephone access and the fact that he will be returned to the previous unit he will go on a hunger strike from the 1^st of November.
